You don't say. Brandi Glanville is eating her words after making a tasteless joke about child molestation during her podcast "Brandi Glanville Unfiltered" on Tuesday, Jan. 14. During her show, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star joked that she "wanted to be molested as a child" while chatting with comedians Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine.
"I was actually stalking you online, Jim, and we have something in common," she said. "I, too, wanted to be molested as a child and was passed up — well, I was in Lutheran school." Apparently, Florentine has often publicly discussed and joked about the child molestation that occurred at his own church when he was young.
"My sister got felt up by my principal. Nothing for me. He didn't even look at me sideways," Glanville continued. "I mean, now, looking back I'm super bummed. I was thinking, like, 'All this and nothing?' Super hot and they passed me up."
After catching wind of the backlash, Glanville, 41, apologized via Twitter two days later. "I was interviewing stand up comedians for my podcast! Had to go through their stand up routines to know what 2 talk about!" she reasoned. "I'm sorry if I offended anyone with @Mrjimflorentine @PodcastOne interview My show is a COMEDY based entertainment show for adults I'm sorry."
Glanville is mother to sons Mason, 10, and Jake, 6, with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian, and has since sparred with the actor, 40, and his new wife LeAnn Rimes over co-parenting the boys among many other issues.
