Dine and dash! Britney Spears got into an awkward situation recently when she and her boyfriend David Lucado grabbed a bite to eat at a Cheesecake Factory in Thousand Oaks, Calif. The couple left (with a doggie bag!) without paying the bill, TMZ reports.
Spears, 32, and her beau reportedly had lunch at the chain restaurant, but forgot to pay the $30 bill for an appetizer and salad. It turned out to be a simple mix up though—the "Ooh La La" singer and her bodyguard both thought that the other had paid.
Spears' people told TMZ she felt "horrible" about the mistake—but quickly made up for it. Instead of the typical 15 percent or 20 percent tip, the waitress received $100 for all the trouble.
As previously reported, the former X Factor judge seems to have a soft spot for food chains. According to documents, some of the $6.8 million she spent in 2012 went toward meals at Subway, Domino's Pizza, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, McDonald's, Starbucks, IHOP, Romano's Macaroni Grill and In-N-Out Burger.
