Britney Spears is the gift that keeps on giving. The pop superstar released another song from her upcoming album just before midnight on Wednesday, August 10 — a track titled "Clumsy."
Spears' fans immediately took to Twitter, posting their enthusiastic responses to the dance track, which is the third song the 34-year-old has released from her ninth album, Glory, due out on August 26.
While her previous songs, "Make Me…" and "Private Show," are more pure pop, "Clumsy" is a beat-heavy dance track.
"Call me a fool / Call me insane / But don't call it a thing / Closer to you / Closer to pain / It's better than far away," she sings and exclaims, "Oops!"
Glory is the singer's first album since 2013's Britney Jean and the mom of two told V magazine earlier this year that she thinks "it's the best thing I've done in a long time."
The new album isn't the only treat awaiting Spears fans. She's also set to join James Corden for some Carpool Karaoke on The Late Late Show on Thursday, August 25, the day before Glory is released.
“Took a ride around LA with @JKCorden & did a little #CarpoolKaraoke,” Spears confirmed via Twitter on Wednesday. “Watch the @latelateshow on 8/25 to see it!”
The Grammy winner, who is also scheduled to headline the iHeartRadio Music Festival in September, is the latest in a line of stars, including Adele, Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas, who've harmonized with the British talk-show host.
