He’s here! Brooklyn Decker and her husband, tennis great Andy Roddick, welcomed their first child together — a baby boy — in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday, Sept. 30, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm.
The pair, who announced their pregnancy on May 2, have been keeping fans posted on the progress of their little bundle of joy via social media in recent months, with Decker, 28, sharing snaps of her growing baby bump.
In September, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model posted a casual snap of herself in a white T-shirt and red flannel cover-up, sans makeup.
“Flannel in the front, denim in the back… My kinda party,” she captioned the snap. “THANK YOU @jessiejamesdecker for this treat!! It’s one of the few things I can still fit into, and look forward to wearing after [baby bottle emoji]. You’re a rockstar mama, singer, AND clothing designer. xx.”
Decker, who wed Roddick, 33, in 2009, has previously spoken out about being excited to start a family with the love of her life.
“He’s just the most clever person I’ve ever met,” she told Glamour last year. “He has such a quick mind… He’s so clever, and his humor is very snarky. It always makes me laugh.”
The Grace and Frankie star has also expressed her appreciation for what her pro athlete beau has taught her about embracing her changing body.
“Being married to Andy has given me a new appreciation for my body,” she told Women’s Health in 2012.”He’s taught me that it’s not how thin you are that matters. It’s how your body performs, how it endures wear and tears.”
