As Bobbi Kristina remains in a coma at Emory University Hospital, family members on her father's side got into a fight at a nearby hotel, the Atlanta Police Department confirmed to Us on Friday, Feb. 6.

According to a police report released Friday afternoon by the Atlanta Police Department, the incident took place after Bobby Brown's birthday party on Feb. 5, and involved his sister Tina Brown and her son Shayne Brown.

"Upon arrival, I spoke with Mr. Shayne Brown whom appeared to have a laceration to the left side of his forehead," read the police report obtained by Us Weekly. "Mr. Brown stated that he was attending a party for Bobby Brown's birthday. Mr. Brown stated that was in a altercation with his mother about a valet parking ticket. Mr. Brown stated that while arguing with his mother, she spit in his face and hit him on his head with a glass bottle."

According to the police statement, Brown, whose 46th birthday was on Thursday, was not there to witness the tussle at the W Hotel in midtown Atlanta. The incident took place early Friday, with police receiving a "fight call" after one member was bloodied. The APD told Us that they responded at 1 a.m.

"One victim Shayne Brown was struck in the head with a bottle by suspect Tina Brown," the APD spokesperson told Us. "Mr. Shayne Brown chose to drive himself to the hospital. Mrs. Tina Brown left the scene before police arrived."

Tina's 30-year-old son previously made headlines a decade ago in May 2005 when he was stabbed at age 21 during a fight at a local restaurant.

"Mr. Brown further stated that his mother did leave the scene and that he did not want to file any charges on his mother," the police report read. "A manager of the W Hotel was also present to witness the altercation."

It was also noted on the police report that Shayne suspected foul play with his car, as well. "After arriving to the hospital, Mr. Brown advised me that he noticed scratch marks to the 4'oclock position of his vehicle that were not present before the altercation," the APD report read.

Brown and Houston family members have gathered in Atlanta as Bobbi Kristina remains in a coma at the Emory University Hospital. The music scion was found unresponsive, facedown in a bathtub in her home this past Saturday, and was placed in a medically induced coma.

One day after Bobbi was found, her father released a statement to Us about his baby girl. "Privacy is requested in this matter," he said. "Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time."

On his birthday Thursday, Brown — who has been by his daughter's side since her hospitalization — stepped out for a smoke break with Gary Michael Houston, the nephew of his late ex-wife Whitney Houston. He told Access Hollywood that his daughter was "good" and that the family was "praying."
