They finally did it! Teen Mom OG stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have said their “I do’s,” Us Weekly can exclusively confirm.
The couple, who started dating when they were in seventh grade, exchanged vows in a non-denominational ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 22, at Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Mich.
“I believe Cate was brought into this world and destined to be loved by me, cherished by me, admired by me, and forever cared for by me,” Baltierra, 23, tells Us of marrying his longtime love. “There is no one else I would rather be than her husband and the father of her children. … I’m so honored and blessed to be able to grow old with her.”
Lowell, also 23, was equally overjoyed to finally be able to call Baltierra her hubby. “I always prayed one day that Ty would be my husband, and I am beyond blessed that my prayers came true,” she tells Us.
The newlyweds cemented their union in front of 154 guests, which included family, friends, and several of their Teen Mom costars: Amber Portwood, who attended with her fiancé, Matt Baier; and Maci Bookout and fiancé Taylor McKinney, along with her son, Bentley, and the couple’s new baby girl, Jayde. Teen Mom 2’s Kailyn Lowry and her husband, Javi Marroquin, were also on hand to celebrate the happy union.
One of the most important guests was little Carly, the young couple’s first daughter, whom they placed for adoption immediately after Lowell gave birth in 2009. Their journey was documented by MTV’s cameras for 16 and Pregnant. The little girl’s adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa, also attended the ceremony.
Their second child, 8-month-old Nova Reign, was the flower girl.
The bride wore a strapped, fitted ball gown that featured head-to-toe lace. “It’s elegant, mature, and makes me feel beautiful!” Lowell tells Us of her wedding dress. Baltierra wore a tux for the formal event.
Baltierra's father, Butch, stood proudly by his son before the ceremony. "Me & Pops," Tyler captioned the black-and-white photo showing the duo dressed to the nines for the event.
The wedding has been a long time in the making for the couple. They first became in engaged during the freshman season of Teen Mom, but called off their wedding after appearing on VH1’s Couples Therapy in Season 3 in 2013, when Baltierra admitted he wasn’t ready to tie the knot. He proposed again on Christmas Day last year.
