Charlie Sheen got hitched again? Not quite. The Anger Management star took to his Twitter on Sunday, Jan. 5 to make a surprise announcement, but it turns out he was actually joking about tying the knot with his adult film star girlfriend Brett Rossi.
"This is the house ware M Gorbachev R Reagan did some epic," wrote Sheen, 48. "It's also where S and I GOT MARRIED! c #RumorMilUhPede," he tweeted beside an image of the two seated in front of the former French consulate building in Reykjavik, Iceland. (For historical reference, the location is where the 1986 Cold War Summit took place between former U.S. President Ronald Regan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev.)
Sheen's rep tells Us Weekly, "He's kidding around," adding that fans should "read the hashtag." Surely enough, 24-year-old Rossi also took to her Twitter Sunday night to make fun of the buzz surrounding her alleged marriage to Sheen. When a fan told the porn star that she had just made the local news over his tweet, Rossi responded, "hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha epic."
As previously reported by Us, Sheen and his younger girlfriend first emerged together while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico back in November.
The Anger Management alum has been married and divorced three times before: Sheen wed Donna Peele in 1995 in a short-lived one year marriage. He then married actress Denise Richards in 2002, though the two split in 2006. Two years later, Sheen married his third wife Brooke Mueller. They divorced in 2011.
