Brighten up! Chloë Grace Moretz played up her green eyes with a funky blue eyeliner in New York City on Wednesday, September 7.
The Little Mermaid actress, 19, hit the Cartier Fifth Avenue Mansion Grand Opening in a black Coach collared shirtdress printed with bright blue and red flowers and lined with burnt orange piping. Simple strappy black sandals, sparkling studs and a blinged-out bracelet were her accessories. As for glam, hairstylist Nell Kalonji assembled Moretz’s blonde hair into a side-swept messy braid with a few wisps left out.
But what stood out the most was the intense blue liner that outlined her entire eye, from top to bottom. Moretz’s look was bold, just like her attitude lately. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she addressed her feud with Kim Kardashian. (Back in March, Moretz slammed the Selfish author, 35, for Instagramming a nude photo. In return, Kardashian joked that no one knew who Moretz was.)
“I realized if I stop talking about the negativity then it can’t thrive. And that’s something I came to very, very recently,” the Coach brand ambassador said. “I think I gave my attention to people that didn’t deserve my attention. So in some ways, I think I regret giving them the attention, [though] I don’t regret what I said.”
