It's his turn! Chris Martin stepped out without his wedding ring in New York City on Thursday, April 10. The Coldplay frontman dressed casually in tight-fitted jeans, a white t-shirt, and baseball cap as he was photographed heading into a black vehicle. Click here to see more pics of Chris.
This is the first time Martin, 37, has been spotted since returning from his Bahamas getaway with estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow. The couple escaped to the island with their children Apple, 9, and Moses, 7, late last month. While ensconced in a private rented Villa there, the spouses of ten years announced their "conscious uncoupling."
"We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate," the duo wrote in a joint statement via Goop on March 25.
Paltrow, meanwhile, decided to rock her marital bling as she returned to the States. Earlier this week, the 41-year-old star was spotted wearing her ring while sitting in a car's passenger seat in L.A. on April 8. The following day, however, she was spotted with a naked finger while leaving the Chateau Marmont.
The pair have seemingly gotten along in the public eye over the years, but behind closed doors it was reportedly quite the different story. The stars would often fight about which city to base their family, and how to parent their children.
"For a long time, they balanced each other out, but she was a control freak," an insider told Us. "Chris couldn't take it anymore."
