They make Us want to roll our windows down! As Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, and other country music superstars gear up for the 2015 Country Music Asssociation Awards — to be held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville — Us Weekly gets an exclusive behind-the-scenes preview with the evening’s hosts about what to expect from the big night.
“After a few years of doing this now, Carrie and I have a really good routine and a really good system, I think,” Paisley, 43, tells Us in the clip above. “Both of us makes the other funnier. She definitely makes me funnier.”
This is Paisley’s eighth year in a row co-hosting the evening with Underwood, 32, who jokes about the havoc of handling multiple duties. “I think the hosting kind of takes over,” she tells Us. “And I’m like, ‘Oh yeah! I have to sing and I’m nominated!'”
Compared to the “Remind Me” collaborators, the other evening’s guests, performers, and nominees have it easy. “We love the CMAs,” Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard tells Us. “It’s the end of touring season, and everybody’s getting ready for the end of the year.”
A reflective Dierks Bentley opens up to Us about performing his smash hit, “Fighter,” live onstage before his celebrity peers. “It’s a big deal for me,” Bentley tells Us.
Watch the video above to find out what Underwood says about her baby boy, Isaiah, and stay tuned with Us for up-to-date and exclusive coverage of the big show. The 2015 CMA Awards will air live on ABC on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m. ET.
