Country singer Craig, 29, remains missing after departing for an Oklahoma duck-hunting trip with his pal Chase Morland and his dog, Sam, on Sunday, December 27.

The alarm was raised that evening after the pair failed to return home, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed to Us Weekly on Monday, December 28, that Morland's body had been found that morning.

Strickland's dog survived the hunting accident, and Helen revealed earlier on Tuesday that the loyal pet wouldn't leave Morland's body until he had been found by a warden.

But as Tuesday's search was called off for the night, Strickland's former–Miss Arkansas USA wife was remaining hopeful, and thankful for the overwhelming support she had received as news of her husband's disappearance became public.

"The search is called for the night-will resume in the morning," Helen wrote, updating followers. "We are overwhelmed with the love and prayers we have received. Thank you all."

Four hours later, Helen, who wed her musician husband last November, shared a Bible quote with concerned fans.

"'You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.' – Psalm 56:8," she wrote, adding a red heart emoji at the end of her tweet.
