Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” Grammys 2014 Performance: Beyonce, Yoko Ono, Paul McCartney Dance in Audience

To paraphrase Madonna, Daft Punk’s music made the people come together inside the Staples Center at the 2014 Grammys on Sunday, Jan. 26. During a night packed with crowd-rousing performances, the French electronica duo’s live rendition of their trademark smash “Get Lucky” — featuring Pharrell Williams, Le Chic’s Nile Rodgers and extra-special guest Stevie Wonder — appeared to get the most folks on their feet.

During their funky, infectious set, the night’s biggest winners incited a huge swathe of music legends (not just Taylor Swift!) to get up and get down: Beyonce and husband Jay Z, Yoko Ono and son Sean Lennon, Sir Paul McCartney and wife Nancy Shevell, Katy Perry, Steven Tyler and many, many others.

“Get Lucky” eventually nabbed Record of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and the album, Random Access Memories was named Best Dance Album and Album of the Year.
