Dinner is served! Daphne Oz brought Us Weekly Video into the newly remodeled kitchen of her NYC home to give us a step-by-step tutorial on how to make her easy, delicious chicken paillard with melon salsa fresca. Watch the video to see how to prepare it!
The Chew cohost, 30, first tried a version of the dish, which she calls “one of my all-time favorite recipes,” on a trip to the islands with her family. “It really is simple, flavorful and really feels totally indulgent and exciting at the same time,” she said.
The Happy Cook author explained that the meal is a hit with the whole family — even her 2-year-old daughter, Philo — and it helps her toward her weight-loss goals. “Trying to lose weight after baby No. 2 has been its own situation and having meals like this on hand makes it possible for me to try to eat healthily and also try to eat happily,” she said of welcoming her son, Jovan, in October 2015, with husband John Jovanovic.
