David Arquette has remained amicable with ex-wife Courteney Cox, but that doesn't mean he will be getting an invite to her upcoming wedding to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid. The actor spoke about the Friends alum and their respective milestones to reporters at the Imagine Ball in West Hollywood on Wednesday, Aug. 6.
"We are all very tight and very close and very supportive of everyone," Arquette, 42, said of Cox at The House of Blues. Whether or not he would attend her nuptials, he replied: "I doubt that."
Arquette and Cox, 50, split in 2010 after nearly 11 years of marriage and share 10-year-old daughter Coco. The Orion actor popped the question to entertainment reporter Christina McLarty on July 2, three months after welcoming son Charlie West. (Cox announced her engagement to McDaid via Twitter on June 26.)
"She is the coolest. She is not hard core about it," Arquette said about McLarty when it comes to wedding plans. "She never pressured me to ask her to marry me. She is an incredible woman and I'm blessed to have her in my life."
Arquette also opened up about returning to diaper duty. "It's my second time around so I have some experience under my belt but it's 10 years later so that changes some things," he said of his baby boy. Coco, meanwhile, is smitten with her younger brother.
"She is taking it incredibly, she is never jealous. She is just the best big sister ever. She is on diaper duty more than me!" Arquette gushed. "She can't stop kissing him enough!" As for Coco's role in his own upcoming nuptials? "She'll be my maid of honor!" he teased.
