Putting the romance rumors to rest by going public? Demi Lovato and her rumored on-again boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, were photographed together at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. on Sunday, Aug. 25.
Rather than attending the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn, the 21-year-old former Disney star and the 33-year-old actor were spotted sitting together with pals in the park on Sunday. Lovato wore a silver pair of Mickey Mouse ears while snacking on a turkey leg.
On Lovato's birthday on Aug. 20, Valderrama shared a rare public display of affection via Twitter. "I've been so proud of the strength & commitment you've gained 4 life, keep inspiring us all! Happy birthday my @ddlovato!" he tweeted to Lovato. "With & by u always."
The former That '70s star first hooked up with the "Skyscraper" singer in 2010. Since then, they've had an on-again, off-again romance, and Us Weekly exclusively revealed in February that the two shared a romantic Valentine's Day meal together in downtown L.A.
At the time, Lovato, who has previously dated Camp Rock costar Joe Jonas, told the U.K.'s Cosmo on Campus, "I'm in a place where I can finally trust and love and be a better person for the man I am in a relationship with, instead of being a clingy girlfriend or getting jealous." She added, "It is very unhealthy when girls devote all of their time to a guy and forget their friends and family. I did that. I was always looking for distractions because I was so afraid of being alone."
Indeed, the X Factor judge is keeping busy in her career and is set to appear on the fifth season of Glee. "Wayyyyy too excited to be starting @GLEE this week!!!!!!! Asjfkdjshdk," she tweeted on Aug. 26. "I can't believe I'm going back to acting but the best part about it is that I get to act/sing with some of my really great friends."
