Wedded bliss! After tying the knot in California this past weekend, newlyweds Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried jetted off to Hawaii this week for a romantic honeymoon.

The Bachelorette star, 28, shared a photo from her trip with her husband via Instagram on Friday, Jan. 23. She posted a stunning shot of a sunset over the ocean, captioning the image, “From one sunset to another. #LifeisBeautiful.”

Hartsock and her banker love, 29, settled on their honeymoon destination after wavering between Hawaii and Fiji, the couple told Us Weekly exclusively ahead of their wedding.

“We were deciding between Hawaii and Fiji, and so, [with] both you can’t go wrong,” Hartsock told Us. “I think there’s more to do in Hawaii compared to Fiji. I actually wanted to go with something more adventurous as opposed to just completely laid back.”

Insiders tell Us that the honeymooners have already started their adventures, with mornings spent paddleboarding in the Pacific Ocean and an evening trip on a sunset cruise. They did indulge in some relaxation, as the pair also went for a couples massage and spent an afternoon catching some rays on chaise lounges at the beach.

As Us exclusively revealed, the two reality stars exchanged vows in Palos Verdes, Calif. on Sunday, Jan. 18. Wearing two wedding dresses that she designed, Hartsock married Siegfried in front of other members of Bachelor Nation, including Ali Fedotowsky, Zak Waddell, and Brooks Forester.

Now working on her design career, Hartsock met Siegfried on season nine of The Bachelorette, which aired on ABC in 2013. After frontrunner Forester pulled out of the competition before the finale, the new Mrs. Siegfried chose the Oregon native over runner-up Drew Kenney

Hartsock, who first appeared on Sean Lowe‘s season of The Bachelor, accepted Siegfried’s proposal on her season finale of The Bachelorette

“We just kind of click,” Siegfried told Us of his relationship with his new wife. “We shared a lot on the show, so that helped [with] figuring if we could see ourselves dating, besides just being attracted to each other. We’re really open with our communication and I think that’s number one in a relationship.”

“Chris and I were very transparent with each other and honest so I think that helped our relationship be strong from the beginning,” Hartsock added. “How it’s progressed is in a relationship you’re always learning about someone, trying to figure out how they love, how they work, how they feel, how they think. I think that every day that’s a learning experience and that’s what makes you stronger, learning more about each other. [It’s the] same with marriage — it’s just going to continue getting stronger and you grow with each other. I’m really excited about it.”
