Diane Kruger on Dating After Joshua Jackson Split: Send Suggestions!

Call me! Diane Kruger is open to finding love after splitting from Joshua Jackson. The Bridge actress joked about her relationship status at the Cinema and Chopard Society screening of her film Disorder in NYC on Tuesday, August 9.

“No, [I’m not seeing anyone],” Kruger, 40, told Us Weekly. “If you have a suggestion, let me know!”

Despite her busy schedule, Kruger would make the time for a special someone. “People in your life that are important, you always find time,” she added. “I don’t believe that you are too busy. It has been my experience that if you want to see somebody, you will always make time.”

As previously reported, Kruger and Jackson, 38, announced last month that they were ending their 10-year romance. “Diane Kruger and Josh Jackson have decided to separate and remain friends,” a rep for both stars told Us Weekly in a statement at the time.

Kruger and the Affair actor, who moved to NYC together only this past March, had their first date at an Italian restaurant in 2006. They would go on to explain on numerous occasions why they weren’t in a rush to tie the knot.

“Marriage is important for the people it’s important for, but neither one of us is particularly religious, so I don’t think there’s any particular push. But never say never! I don’t know,” Jackson told Us in June 2012.

“I can tell you why we’re not married: We’re not religious,” he repeated to Glamour in 2014. “I don’t feel any more or less committed to Diane for not having stood in front of a priest and had a giant party.”

The pair were often each other’s biggest supporters, even though Kruger didn’t watch all of Jackson’s work. “He would rather [I] not [watch The Affair with] all the sex scenes,” she told Net-a-Porter’s The Edit in March. “I think it brings up uncomfortable conversations.”

Filming her own sex scenes is bad enough. Her solution to get through them? Wine! “Easier for me!” she told Us on Tuesday. “Trust me — there are a couple of situations where it helped, for sure … [I drink] more for like doing an intimate scene, you know, like those sex scenes. Anything that you just have to like let loose, I guess!”
