Off for good? Modern Family star Ariel Winter has seemingly split from her longtime boyfriend, Laurent Claude Gaudette, after more than two years of dating.
The redheaded actress, 18, and producer, singer, and songwriter Gaudette have stopped following each other on social media, though he still follows her sister, Shanelle Workman, and Winter’s Modern Family costar Rico Rodriguez.
Just last month, Winter attended her senior prom sans date (Gaudette escorted her to her junior prom last year), and the actress posted a photo to Instagram with a telling caption.
“Middle fingers up/ Put them hands high/ Wave it in his face/ Tell him boy bye,” she quoted from Beyoncé’s song “Sorry.” In the black-and-white snapshot, Winter is not-so-subtly throwing up two middle fingers.
The former couple were last spotted together at Coachella in April. The duo previously sparked rumors of a split last December after Winter shared several cryptic Instagram posts.
“Love doesn’t die, it simply evolves,” she captioned one photo. “We grow up, we realize what we truly want. I’m excited for this new chapter in my love life — love is all around.. Family, friends, pizza.. The old and the new.”
The pair seemed to have reunited a few months later, however, when they vacationed together in the Bahamas. Winter posted a photo of herself kneeling in the sand and writing Gaudette’s name with her finger, her swimsuit-clad tush front and center.
“When you write yours and bae’s name in the sand @atlantisresort #bahamas,” she captioned the photo, along with a heart emoji and a winky face.
Winter and Gaudette first met in 2013, and Winter told Us that she was the first to make a move.
“It was kind of like I saw him, and I was like, I would like to get to know him. And I did!” she told Us at the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood event last October. “I’m very outgoing, so I kind of initiated the, ‘Hi, I’m here! It’s nice to meet you.’”
