Oh, boy. Future released an O.J. Simpson murder trial–inspired track called “Juice,” which seemingly takes aim at his ex Ciara’s fiancé, Russell Wilson.
In the song, the rapper spews out confrontational lyrics such as, “Murder trial, O.J. Simpson. White on white, O.J. Simpson. Double murder, O.J. Simpson.”
“Tryin’ to f‑‑k my baby mama, dog what’s up with you?” he continues, seemingly referencing Wilson’s relationship with Ciara, the mother of his 2-year-old son, Future. “You gon’ make me get a heat, I’m pullin’ up on you.”
The NFL star, 27, and the “I Bet” singer, 30, have yet to respond to Future’s ominous song. Despite the drama, Wilson is still head-over-heels in love with his wife-to-be. On May 19, the athlete expressed his joy in looking after her little boy.
“Watching him grow over the past year and a half has been the most fulfilling and special things I’ve ever been around,” the Seattle Seahawks player wrote in a touching Instagram comment on the younger Future’s 2nd birthday.
“He gets the purest and the sweetest love from you and to watch you be the woman and mom you are ALL the time,” he added. “Every morning. Every night. Every day… No matter what the circumstances or situation… good or bad… brings me so much joy & most importantly him. He is so blessed to have you hold him and hug him and love him with so much pure and real love that he will have no limits to what God has in store for him.”
Back in April, Ciara opened up about her split from Future (Us Weekly exclusively revealed in 2014 that she caught him having an affair with a wardrobe stylist) and how she finally found Mr. Right in a cover story for Essence.
“I remember telling my friend the kind of guy I wanted: a God-fearing man with a very fun spirit who loves kids and would really, truly care for me,” she told the magazine. “I was very specific because I do believe you can have it all.”
As previously reported, Wilson asked for the R&B princess’ hand in marriage in March. Prior to popping the question, Russell revealed in July 2015 that he and Ciara made a vow to remain celibate as an unmarried couple.
“Following Paris Fashion Week, Russell surprised Ciara with a surprise holiday,” Ciara’s rep told Us on March 11. “She was shocked when they landed in the Seychelles at the exclusive resort North Island. The biggest surprise was that Russell proposed to his new fiancé at the romantic, private Honeymoon Beach, located on North Island.”
