It’s the ultimate country-hip-hop crossover event! Dolly Parton appeared on an episode of pal Queen Latifah‘s titular talk show airing next Monday, Oct. 21 — and the Empress of Nashville, 67, bravely forayed into Latifah’s musical territory to deliver an epic, hilarious rap.
Decked out in a blonde Afro, a tight black-and-gold outfit with plenty of gold jewelry accents, the country music singer, songwriter and actress didn’t pull any punches in her cheeky performance that spanned over three minutes. Some of the topics in her rhymes? Her world-famous breasts, Miley Cyrus, Duck Dynasty and much more.
“Now I don’t hip and I don’t hop. I black both eyes with this big top,” Parton raps. “I know the Queen [Latifah] has got ’em too. But she don’t work ’em like I do!”
Pointing to her admittedly large chest, she continued: “Look at them go! Hey I’m twerkin’! I’m workin’! I’m twerkin’! Hey Miley, I got your wrecking balls right here.” (Cyrus, 20, has long cited Parton as one of her idols and biggest influences.)
Bragging of her rural Tennessee roots, the “I Will Always Love You” singer went on: “You ain’t never seen tough ’til you mess with the red neck mafia. Don’t be mess with me and the Duck Dynasty — we’ll be all over you like duck doodie on your shoes.”
“You might be the Queen,” she tells Latifah, “But I’m the white trash princess! Well, me and honey boo boo!”
