Donald Trump Tells Crying Infant’s Mom to Leave His Rally: ‘Get the Baby Out of Here’

There’s no crying in politics. Donald Trump told a parent to hit the road during a Virginia rally on Tuesday, August 2, because of her crying baby.

The GOP presidential nominee, 70, was speaking about China’s currency when the tyke began to have a fit.

“Don’t worry about that baby. I love babies, I hear that baby crying, I like it! What a baby! What a beautiful baby,” Trump told the crowd.

“Don’t worry, the mom’s running around. Don’t worry about it!” he continued. “It’s young and beautiful and healthy, that’s what we want.”

Trump went on with his speech but stopped when the child interrupted him again. “Actually, I was only kidding,” he said, smirking. “You can get the baby out of here. That’s all right. Don’t worry.”

The former Celebrity Apprentice host went on to poke fun at the mother. “I think she really believed me that I love having a baby crying while I’m speaking,” he added. “People don’t understand, that’s OK.”

Trump’s controversial remarks are nothing new. On Monday, he called Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton the devil while speaking about Senator Bernie Sanders.

“He made a deal with the devil. She’s the devil,” he said during a rally in Colorado. “Bernie blew it. He sold his soul to the devil.”

That’s not all. Trump has been making headlines for criticizing parents of a fallen Muslim soldier. Khizr Khan slammed Trump at the Democratic National Convention for trying to deport undocumented immigrants and suggested that Trump has never sacrificed anything. Trump later questioned why Khan’s wife, Ghazala, didn’t speak at the time. She responded by blasting Trump in an op-ed for The Washington Post.

“Donald Trump said that maybe I wasn’t allowed to say anything. That is not true. My husband asked me if I wanted to speak, but I told him I could not,” she wrote. “When Donald Trump is talking about Islam, he is ignorant. If he studied the real Islam and Koran, all the ideas he gets from terrorists would change, because terrorism is a different religion. Donald Trump said he has made a lot of sacrifices. He doesn’t know what the word sacrifice means.”
