The Donald has found yet another enemy. Escaped Mexican drug lord El Chapo, one of the world's most notorious cartel leaders who made headlines for escaping prison for the second time this weekend, is out for Donald Trump.

On Sunday, July 12, Trump took to his Twitter to rail against his political opponents and El Chapo (Joaquin Guzman Loera), following the criminal's high-profile escape from a maximum security prison west of Mexico City.

Last month, the business mogul, 69, incited controversy after he made several incendiary remarks about Mexican immigrants at a campaign kickoff event. "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best… They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists," he said at the time. "And some, I assume, are good people." In the fallout, the mogul was dumped by NBCUniversal, which was originally supposed to air the Miss USA Pageant on Sunday evening.)

At a campaign event in Phoenix, Az., on Saturday, Trump revealed his plans to fine Mexico $100,000 for each unauthorized immigrant who crosses the U.S. border if elected president. Somewhere along the lines, El Chapo caught wind of Trump's comments, and took to his Twitter to call out the presidential hopeful.

"Continue f—ing around and I will make you swallow all your whore words f—ing white [slur for those with blonde or red hair]," El Chapo wrote in a tweet to Trump on Sunday.

An undeterred Trump, however, continued his Twitter rant on Monday, July 13, by demanding his critics and opponents apologize to him.

Trump also told TMZ that the FBI has been alerted following El Chapo's threats. "I'm fighting for much more than myself. I'm fighting for the future of our country which is being overrun by criminals," he told the site. "You can't be intimidated. It's too important."

El Chapo isn't the only one upset with Trump for his recent comments. Fox media mogul Rupert Murdoch also blasted Trump on Monday saying the entrepreneur's claims about immigrants were entirely inaccurate. "Trump wrong," Murdoch tweeted.
