Fred Savage
Fred Savage showed up on the red carpet at the Emmys 2015 on Sunday, Sept. 20, more than 20 years after he first walked the red carpet.

The future is now! Former Wonder Years star Fred Savage stepped out onto the red carpet at the 67th Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 20 — and the former child star struck a dapper figure at the Hollywood event.

Savage, 39, wore a classic tux and bow tie and a huge smile as he walked the carpet, his familiar baby-faced countenance looking largely untouched by time.

Back in 1990, Savage was less dapper, more adorable, when he stepped out at the 42nd Emmy Awards as a nominee for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his leading role as Kevin Arnold on The Wonder Years.

The hit ‘80s to’90s series chronicled the life of an American family in the late ‘60s.

Savage currently stars on Fox show The Grinder opposite Rob Lowe, playing Stewart Sanderson, a hard-working attorney and family man who feels overshadowed by older brother Dean (Lowe).

Prior to his return to TV, Savage stepped behind the camera to direct episodes of shows as diverse as That’s So Raven and Boy Meets World (his younger brother Ben Savage played the lead role).

Last year, Savage and several cast members of his nostalgic show sat down to reminisce about the series on Good Morning America.

“We were so little and so young,” Savage said at the time. “It was such a big part of our life. It was half our life at that time, you know?”
