Eva Longoria has met her match in boyfriend Jose “Pepe” Antonio Baston. Stopping by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, April 14, the Desperate Housewives alum revealed that Baston has forced her to up her fashion game simply by virtue of the fact that he’s so stylish himself.
“He’s a good dresser,” Longoria, 39, said of Baston, 45, president of Televisa, Latin America’s largest media company, and the world’s largest Spanish-speaking media conglomerate. “I always have to step it up. It’s exhausting.”
The Devious Maids executive producer wouldn’t go into detail about their relationship — he’s “uber private,” she said — but she did tell DeGeneres that she’s “very happy” with him. She also told Parade last month that he possesses the qualities she looks for in a partner.
“You know, in general I’m attracted to humor and intellect in a man,” she said. Asked whether Baston has both of those things, she replied, laughing, “Sure. Let me tell you, I’m very lucky in my life.”
Longoria and her Mexico-based beau first started dating last fall, after she split from Ready for Love contestant Ernesto Arguello. “He’s super sweet to her and a complete gentleman,” a source told Us Weekly at the time of Baston. “They have been spending a lot of time together and like each other a lot.”
