Wow! Amal Alamuddin looked absolutely stunning in her floor-length white Oscar de la Renta wedding gown, as she married George Clooney in Venice, Italy, on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The happy couple are pictured on the front cover of Britain's Hello! magazine, posing together after their Italian nuptials at Venice’s Aman Canal Grande hotel. Groom Clooney, 53, looks suave in a Georgio Armani black tuxedo as he places a protective hand on his new wife's waist.
The British lawyer's dress is simple and elegant, in keeping with her and her family's hopes for the high profile wedding day.
As Us Weekly previously reported, Alamuddin's dad, Ramzi, made a speech at the couple's final wedding function, held at the Belmond Hotel Cipriani on Sunday, Sept. 28, where he spoke about their concept.
"He commented on how happy he was with the wedding, which in his opinion was the perfect blend of luxury and simplicity," a source told Us.
Inside the magazine, newlywed Clooney admits marriage is suiting him. "It feels pretty damn great," the silver-haired actor told the publication.
Yesterday, Monday, Sept. 29, the duo made everything legal with a quiet civil ceremony after their lavish weekend celebrations, at Venice's Palazzo Ca' Loredan.
Speaking as they left the building, Clooney told Us he felt "very good," before nuzzling into his new wife's neck as they took off for the airport to go on their honeymoon.
