Ryan Anderson is still picking up the pieces. Two days after attending Gia Allemand's public funeral service at Trinity Grace Church in NYC, the NBA star shared a photo of the late Bachelor alum via Twitter.
"Every second of everyday, I miss you Petrie," he wrote on Saturday, Aug. 24. "I feel lost without you but find strength knowing that you are in Heaven. Rest in peace my love." The photo alongside the caption showed the smiling couple posing for the camera.
Anderson, 25, was the one who found Allemand, 29, hanging in her New Orleans home on Monday, Aug. 12. Shortly after, he was one of the first to make a public statement. "Gia was the most beautiful person I knew inside and out, and she always smiled and made everyone else around her smile."
He added: "She had such an amazing impact on my life and anyone that knew her was blessed. All I have left is to cherish those memories we made together and help perpetuate the many values, faith, and love that we shared."
The couple of two-and-a-half years did have their relationship struggles though. Anderson "wasn't ready to commit" and as a result, the two constantly fought, sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly. "He started breakup talks" with the late reality star.
