Aren’t they the cutest? Gigi Hadid showed her support for her boyfriend, Zayn Malik, after he canceled a London concert appearance due to anxiety.
As Us Weekly previously reported, the “Pillowtalk” singer, 23, shared a lengthy message via Twitter on Saturday, June 11, telling fans that he had to pull out of his appearance at the Capital Summertime Ball, citing the “worst anxiety of my career.”
“I cannot apologise enough but I want to be honest with everyone who has patiently waited to see me,” he wrote. “I promise I will do my best to make this up to everybody I’ve let down today.”
Hadid, 21, later took to Twitter to post a sweet response to her beau.
“Z – I’ve seen the battles you go through and the way you fight to get to a place that allows you to get up there for your fans,” she wrote on Sunday, June 12. “Your bravery in those times makes me proud, but your honesty last night proved what you’re all about, being real. Human recognizes human. You made the best of the situation and have given your fans an opportunity to understand you better as a performer. Those who can find compassion now are the ones that deserve to watch you continue to grow.”
She added, “We are all here to support you and make each experience easier. Your talent and good heart will never lead you wrong. Love you and so proud of you always 🙂 xG.”
Earlier this month, the couple briefly split after dating for seven months. A source later told Us Weekly that the former One Direction singer and supermodel had quickly reconciled.
“They broke up and got back together almost right away,” the pal told Us. “Right now, it’s back on, but it could be off again in an hour,” adding, “They are young and keep going back and forth.”
