Giuliana Rancic became a first-time parent in August, and already she’s working tirelessly to retain her “hot mom” status.
Speaking to her friend and interior designer Lonni Paul on Tuesday’s episode of STYLE’s Giuliana & Bill (taped before her son’s birth), Rancic opened up about her fear that she’d let herself go once baby Edward Duke arrived.
“I’m trying to wrap my mind around how to juggle work and a baby. I fear [that] I’m going to be one of those women that has a baby, and the next thing I know, I’m walking around all day with a side ponytail, eating chips and wearing flip-flops and not wanting to be sexy for my husband,” she tells her friend — a mom of twins — in the above preview clip. “I don’t want the baby to be an excuse.”
Welcoming Edward Duke via gestational surrogate on August 29, 2012, the E! News and Fashion Police host, 37, and her husband Bill, have enlisted the help of a nanny, but relish the opportunity to bond as a couple when tending to their son after-hours.
“Bill and I literally fight over who will be the one to get up with him in the middle of the night,” the new mom wrote in a TODAY Show blog posted weeks after she and her husband of five years took their little boy home. “We both just want to be with him all the time and not miss anything!”
