Gwen Stefani stepped out in Beverly Hills on Friday, Aug. 7, just a few days after she and husband Gavin Rossdale announced their split. The No Doubt rocker was photographed getting into the backseat of a car in a parking garage.
The mom of three, 45, looked chic in a red plaid top, ripped jeans, and heels. She kept a jean jacket wrapped around her waist and wore her blonde locks up in a tight bun. She also appeared to still be wearing her wedding ring.
Us Weekly confirmed on Aug. 4 that Stefani and the Bush frontman, 49, have called it quits after 13 years as husband and wife.
“While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment,” they told Us in a statement. “To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time.”
The now-estranged couple wed in September 2002 after seven years of dating and share sons Kingston, 9, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 17 months. As previously reported, Stefani is focusing on her children amid the split.
“Of course Gwen is upset. She really gave it her all and tried to make it work as hard as she could for years. She was in love with him and they had the family she always dreamed of,” an insider told Us.
The source added: “Stefani’s primary focus is making sure the kids are okay. They are trying not to fight around the kids and keep the kids’ world as undisturbed as possible. She is trying to make it as easy on them as she can.”
