It's a happy time indeed for "Glee" star Harry Shum Jr. — because the triple-threat is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Shelby Rabara! It seems that he actually popped the question while the two were on vacation in Hawaii back in October 2013, and they've finally decided to share their good news. (Kudos to them for keeping it quiet for so many months.)
Rabara appeared on a handful of "Glee" episodes as Shoshandra in 2009 and 2010, and also worked with Shum on the web series "LXD: The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers." In addition, she's had roles on "Community," "CSI" and "Bunheads." For his part, Shum has also appeared in "Stomp the Yard," "You Got Served," "Step Up 2: The Streets" and "Step Up 3D." His next project is starring as a broke super hero in a digital series entitled "Caper." In other words, these two are talented … and busy!
And while they just broke the news of their engagement, they've already begun their life together, recently having bought a 3-bedroom home in the Hollywood Hills that features amenities like a formal living room and a wood-burning fireplace.
The "Glee" star thanked his fans via Twitter following the happy news and also cracked a joke.
Hopefully — now that the cat's out of the bag — these two talented young stars can slow down long enough to actually plan a wedding! No word yet on when the big day might be, but something tells us that when they do finally strut down the aisle, it's going to be one good party.
