A phallic fashion statement! Kate Beckinsale took to Instagram on Monday, July 11, to share a hilarious photo of herself dressed in an inflatable penis costume. Yes, you read that right.
“Just a girl trying to make it in a man’s world,” the Love & Friendship actress, 42, humorously wrote alongside the pic of herself. In the snapshot, the British beauty — only her flawless face peeps through the costume — appears a tad confused as she stands by her bed, donning the genitalia-mimicking getup.
While it remains uncertain as to why the Total Recall star decided to slip herself into the NSFW ensemble, several of her 180,000 followers seemed to be amused by her ode to the male anatomy.
“Hilarious! My wife is dying to know where she can get an inflatable penis suit,” one fan wrote, while another joked: “What a magnificent erection.”

During a September 2012 appearance on Conan, Beckinsale — who split from husband Len Wiseman last fall — revealed that she has a raunchy sense of humor.
“I do like a penis joke. Right? Doesn’t everybody? Especially when you’re on a holiday,” the mom of Lily Mo, 17 (whom she shares with ex Michael Sheen), told a surprised Conan O’Brien. “Whenever I visit my mother’s house, I always have to leave a banana and two apples or whatever fruit she has.”
“It’s nice we have a family tradition,” she added with a laugh, “and ours is penis-based.”
