Can they work it out? Hilary Duff was all smiles at Coachella in Indio, Calif. with estranged husband Mike Comrie on Friday, April 11. The two were photographed laughing and rocking out under the bright California sunshine together, looking carefree and comfortable. Multiple source tell Us Weekly that the parents to son Luca are in no rush to split for good.
At Coachella, the two were snapped joking together and comfortably soaking in the music scene. Duff looked summery in a white tank, shorts, and fedora, while Comrie was also dressed casually for the festival in shorts, sneakers, and a t-shirt.
Their latest joint-appearance comes just one day after the two met up at a Beverly Hills Chanel store. Following their visit to the luxury boutique, Duff shared an Instagram pic of her new purse, which she also carried to Coachella on Friday.
Neither Comrie nor Duff has filed legal documents to move their split forward since announcing their separation on Jan. 10. In fact, the two, along with their 2-year-old tot Luca, even took a Valentine’s Day vacation together as a “modern family.”
As previously reported by Us, the source of their marital disintegration came from Comrie’s lack of effort in the relationship. The former NHL player, 33, and actress, 26, tried counseling for 18 months, but an insider told Us, “he wasn’t doing any of the things they’d worked on.”
In their split announcement, Duff’s rep said, “They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other’s lives.”
