Nearly a decade after Anna Nicole Smith‘s death, Larry Birkhead is reconnecting with his late ex-girlfriend (and the mother of his daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead) on the Wednesday, September 21, episode of Hollywood Medium With Tyler Henry.
“This energy of this younger woman is almost insistent in the way this is coming through,” the clairvoyant medium, 20, tells Birkhead, 43. “There’s an acknowledgement. I’m seeing a symbol of putting lipstick on a mirror. This is strange. It’s a message in lipstick is the way this comes through, and it’s a symbol, but it’s coming through to kind of help convey this individual’s personality.”
The clip then cuts away to the Louisville, Kentucky, native in a confessional, where he reveals he’s surprised about the details Henry picked up on. “There’s no way he would have known that. It kind of blew me away that he knew.”
The E! medium then further explains the image he’s receiving, saying, “I don’t know what this is, but I’m seeing an image basically of, like, a big hat. It’s a hat that we would wear almost to what seems like a special event. … There is sentimental sigificance on the month of May that I need to bring up. There’s also a reference to Kentucky that I need to bring up as well, strangely.”
As Birkhead cracks a smile, he explains, “Well, you kind of hit a few things. One was lipstick on a mirror, which was something I used to always do. We used to write messages back and forth. I met my daughter’s mother [Anna Nicole] in the month of May in Kentucky with a crazy hat on, like you mentioned, at the Kentucky Derby.”
Birkhead and Smith’s daughter, who is now 10, was only 5 months old when her mother passed away at age 39 from an overdose of prescription drugs in February 2007. Following a months-long custody battle plagued by other men claiming paternity of Dannielynn, Birkhead obtained full custody of his daughter in April 2007.
