He speaks! Hugh Grant finally broke his silence about his child with TV producer Anna Elisabet Eberstein while recently speaking to Swedish newspaper Nöjesbladet (via the Daily Mail).
The Notting Hill star, 54, told the paper that his romantic relationship with Eberstein was in the past, but she and their 2-year-old baby boy are a very big part of his life.
"I love him very much," Grant said while attending a race in Skane Knutstorp. He added that the tot, whose name has still not been disclosed, was "excellent."
Grant also spoke affectionately about his ex Eberstein. "We are very good friends and she's a very good mother," he said. His son and Eberstein live within walking distance to the actor in London, which allows Grant to see them "most days, all the time."
Us Weekly confirmed the news of Grant's love child with Eberstein this past January, after obtaining a copy of the baby's birth certificate. The boy was born in September 2012, but Grant was not registered as his father until 2013.
The actor is also a dad to two other kids: daughter Tabitha, 3, and son Felix, 21 months, with Tinglan Hong. Coincidentally, both Hong and Eberstein overlapped in pregnancies.
Speaking with Ellen DeGeneres in April 2012, Grant said welcoming his daughter Tabitha was "quite life changing" and "a very nice surprise."
