He's having a Jon Hamm moment.
Idris Elba caused a serious frenzy this week when pictures of him on the set of his upcoming film A Hundred Streets in London went viral. Unfortunately, it had nothing to do with his acting chops. The British actor received attention for his, err, distracting bulge.
Elba wore a tight-fitted tailored blue suit during the revealing moment with a white button-up; Gawker and many other sites wondered whether Elba was as super-humanly endowed as the confusing pics suggested. Without missing a beat, the 41-year-old later joked about the incident via Twitter.
"The good news is i got a sh–load of followers. The bad news is, that is a mic wire. #egowentintospaceshipmodethough," he wrote on Saturday, Aug. 9. He added: "Calvin Klein called my mobile, they want me in their next campaign. Foot long john's Coming Winter 2014."
The Luther star has become somewhat of a favorite to follow via Twitter in recent months. He previously has posted about having a favorite toilet and a picture of himself photobombing Oprah Winfrey. In January, he received attention once again—for his family jewels—when he joked about his "beast" while wearing a suit and bow tie.
"Wowsers! Crazy how many new followers you get when you mention the d–k," wrote on Jan. 5. "If I owned a Bow tie company I'd be laughing. Dickie Bows by Driis."
