Are Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis friends with benefits?
The new issue of Us Weekly (out Friday) has details on the pair's cozy three-day getaway that kicked off April 19 when Kutcher, 34, drove Kunis 87 miles out of Los Angeles to the seaside town of Carpinteria, Calif.
First on their low-key agenda: Scoping out goods at a roadside vendor. "Ashton hung out with his hands in his pockets as Mila shopped," says a witness, who told Us Kunis, 28, picked up sunflowers and blueberries. Later, the pair grabbed lunch at Sushi Teri, where the actress noshed on a veggie roll and a charbroiled salmon salad (Kutcher didn't eat!).
The pair's getaway — which wrapped up April 22 when they headed back to L.A. — comes shortly after their April 15 dinner at L.A.'s Asanebo.
Though they've enjoyed quite a bit of face time recently, a Kunis source tells Us the actress — who reconnected with Demi Moore's cheating ex at a That '70s Show reunion taping after quite a few years apart — is very wary of Kutcher.
Says the source of Kunis: "Mila wouldn't stand for that kind of stuff. She's a strong, smart girl."
