Ireland Baldwin is taking back control. The model, daughter of actor Alec Baldwin and actress Kim Basinger, has checked into rehab for emotional trauma, she tweeted on Monday, April 13.
The 19-year-old blonde stunner checked into the SOBA Recovery Center in Malibu, Calif. (A rep for her father, 30 Rock alum Alec, had no comment.)
Late Sunday, April 12, Baldwin tweeted a cryptic prayer to her 8,000-plus followers. "God…Grant me the serenity tonight," she wrote. On Monday, the Holllywood scion elaborated on her condition after it was reported that she was receiving help for substance abuse issues.

Baldwin explained to fans why she felt the need to share some details now.

Earlier this month, Baldwin tweeted from the hall of a hospital, where she was being treated for appendicitis. Sharing a photo of herself wearing a blue onesie and sitting in a wheelchair, she tweeted, "appendicitis swag. thanks for all of your concern."
As the daughter of famous parents and an up-and-comer herself, Baldwin obviously has a lot of friends on the Hollywood scene. But she told Galore in June 2014 that she wasn't much of a hard partier.
"Gigi [Hadid] and I like to pretend we are social and actually like going out, but in reality we would rather be eating Chinese and watch[ing] Dance Moms," she said at the time. "What can I say, we are too bad for our own good."
Referring to then-girlfriend Angel Haze, she added, "Angel is the most fun. We are always doing something stupid. She's going to hate me for saying this, but she's a homebody too, though. So, in conclusion, they're both really lame and I'm the dangerous one."
