Sister, Sister alum Jackee Harry live-tweeted the 2016 Grammy Awards on Monday, February 15, and had some advice for Kanye West amid his latest antics.
The actress, 59, who played adoptive mom Lisa Landry on Tia and Tamera Mowry‘s ’90s sitcom, posted about key moments from the ceremony, including the lovely tribute to Lionel Richie, Lady Gaga’s insane performance in honor of the late David Bowie, Adele‘s mishap and the Hamilton cast’s big win. She also had a lot to say about Kendrick Lamar‘s politically charged performance.
During the broadcast, the To Pimp a Butterfly rapper, 28, shut down the audience by directly tackling issues of racism in America. “I’m African American, I’m African,” Lamar rapped. “I’m black as the moon, heritage of a small village / Pardon my residence / Came from the bottom of mankind / My hair is nappy, my d–k is big, my nose is round and wide / You hate me don’t you?”
Like countless viewers, Harry was moved by Lamar’s sweeping theatrics — he and his dancers were handcuffed as if in a prison chain gang — and the rapper’s bold words.

She even hit back at haters.
No one cares if you’re insulted by our blackness. https://t.co/YPs7QwVEEX

In an attempt to be diplomatic, Harry said both Lamar and West are mega talented — but their priorities were very different.
They’re both great. I simply want Ye to get back to the message & not worry about the shoes & holograms… https://t.co/zVq345RPLS

Since the controversial rapper, 38, debuted his Yeezy Season 3 line and new album, T.L.O.P., last Thursday, he’s continually dominated headlines.
On Valentine’s Day, he pleaded with Mark Zuckerberg to invest $1 billion into his ideas and revealed that he’s $53 million in debt. He’s also currently on bad terms with Taylor Swift again after name-dropping her as a “bitch” in his new song “Famous” and subsequently claiming that he made her famous. On Monday night, the 1989 songstress clapped back at West in her Grammys speech.
