He just keeps on giving! James Corden treated Late Late Show viewers to more of his totally awesome carpool karaoke session with Stevie Wonder on Wednesday, Oct. 7 — sharing the outtakes of his time with the musical legend.
The original bit, which went viral back in September, was an iconic TV segment, complete with Wonder’s hilarious attempts at an English accent, and a heartwarming moment when the “Isn’t She Lovely” singer rang Corden’s wife, Julia, to say her husband loved her.
And, responding to viewer desire for more, Corden revisited his once-in-a-lifetime moment in an SUV during last night’s show, sharing the parts of the encounter which didn’t make the final cut with his appreciative audience.
And we’re so glad these clips didn’t remain on the cutting room floor! Whether it’s conversations about Wonder’s recent conversion to veganism, his love of chicken or his discussions about who chooses his clothes, the outtakes are almost as wonderful as the awesome original.
And the 65-year-old singer even gave his opinion on Kanye West‘s bid for presidency!
