Famous for her years of yo-yo dieting, Janet Jackson has finally found a diet plan she can stick to — and is showing off her hot bod in a brand new TV spot.
“This is what success looks like,” Jackson — a NutriSystem spokeswoman — enthuses in an advertising spot for the brand. “I lost the pounds I wanted to lose and you can too.” (Watch the clip above)
Applauding the plan’s vast meal choices and flexibility — “You don’t have to get on a scale!” she reasons — Jackson credits NutriSystem with helping her curb her emotional eating.
“When I’m down or really stressed, I eat because that’s my comfort place,” she told Us Weekly in December. “I’ve had a problem with my body image. So that’s why it’s really really important to get to where you really feel comfortable. You need to look at yourself and say, ‘I like this, I feel good about this. I feel healthy, I feel strong, and this is where I want to be.'”
Thanks to her revamped diet and fitness-focused lifestyle, Jackson is on her way to being 100 percent happy with her figure.
“I have a little ways to go to get healthy and to feel the best that I know I can feel,” she says. “I know I’m on my way to success.”
