OMG — it's happening! After seven years out of the spotlight, Janet Jackson is coming back with new music and (wait for it…) a new world tour! The singer announced the crazy amazing news via Vimeo on Saturday, May 16, which just so happens to be her 49th birthday.

In the "#ConversationsInACafe" video, Jackson is in the music studio laying down new tracks. She doesn't show her face, but she does give fans what they've been wanting for years.

"I promised you'd hear it from my lips, and now you will," she says in a voiceover. "This year, new music, new world tour, a new movement. I've been listening. Let's keep the conversation going."

A source previously told Us Weekly back in March that Jackson was working on a new album and ready to officially announce her comeback tour.

Jackson last dropped her 10th studio album, Discipline, in 2008. Since then, she secretly married Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana and has only made a handful of rare appearances.
