Using the song to prove his Avengers character Hawkeye was as “super” as the other superheroes like Thor and Captain America in the hit comic book franchise, Renner replaced Sheeran’s soulful lyrics with some hilarious quips about Hawkeye’s abilities.

Despite pouring out line after line of silly lyrics (“Maybe I haven’t lost my virginity,” he sang, “but I got seventh place in my fantasy league!”) the 44-year-old star managed to make his parody song sound every bit as beautiful as Sheeran’s classic ballad.
