Looks like Jeremy Renner and wife Sonni Pacheco won't make it to even their first anniversary. Just 10 months after saying "I do," and just three months after news broke that the two had secretly married, Pacheco has filed for divorce, TMZ reported Tuesday, Dec. 30.
According to the site, Pacheco cited irreconcilable differences in her court documents, which were filed earlier this month. She also reportedly mentioned a prenup but said it should be disregarded because it was based on "fraud."
TMZ further claims that Pacheco is requesting spousal support and physical custody of the couple's daughter, 21-month-old Ava Berlin. Additionally, the site reports, she wants Renner to pay her rent and moving expenses, and has asked that he return her passport, birth certificate, and social security card.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron actor, 43, is famously tight-lipped about his personal life but confirmed in September that he and Pacheco had married months earlier. "I have tried to protect my family's privacy, my wife's privacy," he told Capitol File at the time. "I don't need her to get hammered with my life."
He couldn't help gushing a little about his baby girl, though. "It's the best thing I have ever done — doing it later on in life," he said. "By then I achieved a lot of things that I wanted to achieve; I'm so blessed for that. Now I can really spend time with family."
