She’s a domesticated Duggar! Jill Duggar, hot off her honeymoon with husband Derick Dillard, has been posting multiple Instagram updates of her new life as a wife. The 19 Kids and Counting star, now married for 12 days to her beau, prepared a homecooked meal on Wednesday, July 2, which she excitedly shared with friends.
“Dinner with my sweetheart yesterday,” Duggar, 23, wrote alongside the dinnertime snap, posted on Thursday, July 3. In the picture, the couple, both grinning, sit side-by-side with bowls of healthy and hearty brussels sprouts on the table. Not one to shy away from hashtags, the reality star added, “#derickdillard #jilldillard #19kidsandcounting #dinnerwithhusband.”
Duggar, it turns out, prepared the home-cooked meal for her man, who works full time as a tax accountant. Prior to dinner on July 2, the reality star shared another pic of a variety of ingredients set atop a marble kitchen counter. “Making my favorite Voeller dressing to go with the salad for dinner this evening!” she wrote, along with the hashtags, “#duggarfam #healthycooking #lovetocook #derickdillard #jilldillard #newlyweds.”
The homemade dressing, provided on the Duggar Family website, features ingredients like olive oil, dijon mustard, liquid amino, honey, lemon juice, thyme, and pepper.
Her impressive culinary display mimics Dillard’s skills on the grill. On Tuesday, July 1, Jill shared a photo of her hubby barbecuing chicken and patties. “My sweet husband grilling our dinner yesterday,” she wrote, adding “#imsoinlove.”
Duggar, the fourth of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar‘s 19 kids, married Dillard (and shared their first kiss!) on Saturday, June 21. The newlywed couple’s latest marriage updates follow their weeklong honeymoon.
On their wedding website, Jill expressed her excitement about sharing a life with her husband. “We look forward to seeing where God will lead us and are enjoying this amazing season of life together!” she wrote.
