It’s a cozy-coaster! John Mayer and his on-again, off-again love Katy Perry were spotted at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., over Memorial Day weekend, where they were photographed spending quality time together.
The on-and-off-and-on-again couple visited the West Coast theme park on Sunday, May 24. An eyewitness tells Us Weekly that the two were "walking around the park holding hands” and behaving like quite the romantic item.
Perry, 30, was dressed in a polka-dot rain jacket and distressed jeans, while Mayer, 37, also dressed casually in a black parka and jeans. Their latest appearance came several weeks after the "Who You Are" collaborators were spotted canoodling at a Met Gala afterparty in NYC.
An observer at the famed Met Ball told Us at the time that Mayer leaned in for many passionate kisses and held hands with the pop sensation all night while they caught up with their fellow superstars inside the Boom Boom Room at the top of the Standard in the Meatpacking District.
In fact, another source close to Mayer tells Us that the Paradise Valley singer has been intent on winning back Perry. "He worked his way back into her good graces," the insider tells Us. "He's trying not to mess it up."
Perry, who divorced Russell Brand in early 2012, recently opened up to Harper's Bazaar about how she views relationships.
"What I've learned is that if you don't have the foundation of self-love first, you really have nowhere to pull love from to give it away," she shared. "I had to learn about taking care of myself before I could take care of others. I want to mommy everyone. I want to take care of them. I want to save them, and I forget myself in the meantime. I learned that through therapy."
