"Subsequent investigation at the hospital determined that he was driving under the influence," a BHPD public information officer stated. As a result, the actor received a citation and an order to appear in court on Sept. 11.

Following his arrest, Stamos took to Twitter to address fans. "Thanks to everyone for their love & support," he wrote on June 13. "I'm home & well. Very appreciative of the BHPD & Cedars for their care."

The Fuller House producer was due to present the nominees with Orange Is the New Black star Uzo Aduba, but has been replaced by So You Think You Can Dance hostess Cat Deeley.
