When asked if he has any little tricks as a lover, the Fuller House star joked, “I have ‘The Stamos Straddler.’ I do that sometimes.” The actor, 52, then quickly steered the conversation back to more PG territory. “I’m a cuddler guy. That’s where I really excel,” he continued. “I like a good cuddle.”

Speaking of his love life, Stamos also discussed one of his former flames and had nothing but nice things to say about his ex-girlfriend Nicky Whelan, who he briefly dated in 2014. “I dated a beautiful Australian girl for a while. Her name is Nicky Whelan, do you know her?” he asked the radio hosts. “She’s the best. I think she’s getting married now. I’m super happy for her. She’s a very dear friend of mine.” Whelan, who has starred in Hall Pass and The Wedding Ringer, is currently engaged to former NFL player Kerry Rhodes.

The Grandfathered actor let slip on The View last month that he’s off the market as well, but he refused to divulge the lucky lady’s name. After he was photographed getting ice cream in West Hollywood with actress Caitlin McHugh a few days later, people speculated they might be dating. Stamos was previously married to model and actress Rebecca Romijn, but they split in 2004 after six years of marriage.

Of course, Kyle and Jackie had to discuss Fuller House, which is currently filming its second season. Stamos said the cast was surprised that the reboot, which he also produces, got renewed by Netflix only a few days after it debuted. “It’s the most bizarre thing to happen. I don’t think there’s any other show that has done that,” he said. “It got the worst reviews, and it kind of just made me laugh after a while. One reviewer compared it to necrophilia. … It was just more comical than anything to me.”

He’s still hopeful that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen might reprise their role as Michelle Tanner. “We’re gonna try again. I just got off the phone with [Bob] Saget and he’s gonna make a call too,” he said. “They’re always welcome. I’d love to have them on.”
