The Fletchers meet the Rodgers. JoJo Fletcher and her fiancé, Jordan Rodgers, celebrated their engagement at a surprise party with both of their families on Saturday, August 20.
The Bachelorette star, 25, took to Instagram over the weekend to share a sweet photo of herself and the former NFL player, 27, with 14 of their closest friends and family members, including their parents and siblings. (Rodgers’ estranged brother Aaron was not pictured and likely did not attend.)
“My heart is so full! Jordan and I were going out to what we thought was just a little dinner with friends but instead walked into a room full of both our friends and family to celebrate in our engagement,” Fletcher captioned the shot. “We are so incredibly blessed. #fletchersmeettherodgers.”
Rodgers also shared a pic of himself and brother Luke sharing a laugh at the fun-filled evening. “When you think you are just going to dinner with your fiancé and a few friends and you walk into a room full of both your families and best friends!” he wrote on Instagram on Saturday night. “So blessed to not only have found the love of my life @joelle_fletcher, but have an amazing family and new family to share a life with. So blessed to do life with these people!”
The aspiring sports broadcaster appeared to be in good spirits, seemingly unfazed by his ex-girlfriend Brittany Farrar’s cheating allegations from earlier in the week.
As Us Weekly previously reported, the personal trainer took to Instagram on August 18 and 19 to rant about Rodgers, who she called a “prolific liar and cheater” in since-deleted posts.
Hours after Farrar’s posts went viral, Fletcher shared an Instagram photo of herself (and her massive $85,000 3.5-carat engagement ring) holding Rodgers’ hand. “The best thing to hold onto in life is each other,” she wrote before quipping, “[And] tacos.”
