Michael C. Hall may have met his soon-to-be ex Jennifer Carpenter on set, but that doesn’t mean the Dexter actor is always hot for his costars.
After rumors circulated that Hall, 39, has been secretly dating his onscreen love interest Julia Stiles, the 29-year-old actress is setting the record straight.
“I have absolutely nothing to do with the split between Michael and Jennifer. We are good friends and enjoyed working together,” Stiles tells UsMagazine.com in a statement.
“This is a personal matter between them, and we should respect their privacy. Although I too prefer to keep my private life private, I felt compelled to dispel the rumors I was somehow the cause for this matter.”
Married for two years, reps for Hall and Carpenter, 31, announced the “amicable” split on Monday; the couple had “been separated from some time.”
