Justin Bieber Advises David Hasselhoff on Dealing With BS Rumors In Twitter Exchange

David Hasselhoff and Justin Bieber
Shortly after David Hasselhoff took to Twitter to debunk a silly report for his love of cheese, Justin Bieber advised him to not listen to "BS" rumors

Don't mess with the Hoff – or the Biebs! Justin Bieber often finds time to interact with his fans via social media, but the 19-year-old instead responded to a famous face to give some heartfelt advice Tuesday night — David Hasselhoff. The former Baywatch star took to Twitter to debunk a report about, of all things, his erotic love for cheese. The response from the "Boyfriend" singer? Bieber said to not listen to all the "BS."

"Cheesey reporting as I NEVER posted naked surrounding myself with cheese THIS REPORTER IS A CHEESEY LIAR," the 61-year-old wrote via Twitter about a recent report.

(In 2007, a videotape recorded by Hasselhoff's daughters showed the recovering alcoholic intoxicated while eating a Carl's Jr. cheeseburger half-naked on the floor. The family decided to tape the incident "to show me what I was like," he said at the time in a statement.)

When Bieber saw the tweet, he quickly responded to the actor. "Strange because I have [posed naked surrounded by cheese]," the singer joked. "I also had a baby, hired women, gone crazy, spit on people I love, oh yeah, and I've died 8 times."

He added: "Can't believe or dwell on the bs. Just gotta know your truth. U can't bring us down. And @DavidHasselhoff everyone loved BayWatch."

Bieber's manager Scooter Braun, clearly amused by the exchange, responded to the conversation. "@justinbieber @davidhasselhoff best exchange I have read in a while. And yes everyone did love Bay Watch," he wrote.

The "Heartbreaker" singer's response comes just days after he was allegedly caught leaving a Brazilian brothel on Nov. 1. Back in 2011, a woman named Mariah Yeager also claimed Bieber was her baby's daddy. (Bieber took a paternity test as Yeager later dropped the lawsuit.) This past October, charges against the young star were dropped after a neighbor accused Bieber of spitting on him in their Calabasas, Calif., neighborhood.

As for Hasselhoff, the Dancing With the Stars alum still hasn't responded a second time about the "cheesy" story. However, he has retweeted the men's comments.
